Attention was given to making the rooms as homelike as possible, with each having its own unique decor and color scheme.
The living room is a place wherethe family can find a few quiet moments. Artwork decorates
the Hospice House, providing comfort and beauty.

Hospice Alliance Hospice House provides a place of comfort and care for patients who meet hospice criteria. Life situations and circumstances do not always permit one to remain in their own home as they face the end of life. Hospice House provides care in a homelike setting by a team of professional caregivers twenty-four hours per day.
When might an individual consider the Hospice House?
- A spouse or caregiver must continue to work to maintain medical insurance and provide a necessary income to support the family
- The caregiver is frail and/or elderly
- The individual is facing end of life alone
- Family is not residing in the area
- Other special circumstances may require residential care in our Hospice House
Hospice House offers private rooms, with each room being completely furnished, and including television and a private bath. Common areas include a living room, family lounge, kitchen, laundry, and a garden-style yard. Wireless internet is provided for patients and visitors.
The Hospice staff, patient and family, along with their personal physician and Hospice Alliance´s medical director work together to determine if our Hospice House is appropriate for the individual. The Medicare Hospice benefit does not provide for Hospice House room and board reimbursement, however, Hospice Alliance services are available to all Hospice patients regardless of their ability to pay.
